Collaborations

The Landscape Archaeology of Southwest Sardinia Project works in association with the Archaeological Mission of Pani Loriga, under the direction of Professor Massimo Botto (CNR Phoenician and Punic Research Group). It has also worked closely with the European Research Infrastructure on Heritage Science (E-RIHS) Mobile Laboratory team of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Richerche, under the direction of Professor Nicola Massini and Professor Rosa Lasaponara, to conduct UAV remote sensing surveys in the study region.

The activities of the LASS Project would not be possible without the assistance and support of the Museo Civico Archeologico di Santadi. The Project's fieldwork is conducted by permission of the Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo of Italy.

Financial support

Funding to support the LASS Project has been generously provided by the Loeb Classical Library Foundation, the Brennan Foundation, the Prehistoric Society, the University of Cambridge, and Florida State University's Council on Research and Creativity.
